Turkish-Backed jihadists Move Against Faction Accused of "Corruption"

The Turkish Army and their jihadiallies have begun a new security operation, in northern region of Aleppo, opposition activists reported.

According to the opposition activists, the Turkish Army and their rebel allies launched a security operation targeting the “thieves and looters” in the Afrin region of the Aleppo Governorate.

The Turkish Army operation comes just months after they took control of the Afrin region from the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG/PKK/SDF).

The looting in Afrin has been well-documented by local activists; it has gotten so bad that rebels have begun fighting each other for the booty taken from the abandoned homes in this region.
